Tamia Monique Carter, known professionally as Flo Milli, is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Mobile, Alabama Wikipedia who's been impossible to ignore since "Beef FloMix" went viral on TikTok in 2019 Wikipedia. Her debut mixtape Ho, Why Is You Here? landed on Rolling Stone's list of the Greatest Hip Hop Albums of All Time Wikipedia, and she's built a reputation for lighthearted demeanor and punch line-heavy rhyme styles Power 106.1 that hit harder than they have any right to. She was included in the XXL Freshman Class of 2021 Wikipedia and hasn't slowed down since. She headlined Northeastern's Homecoming at Matthews Arena in November 2025, presented by CUP. But the venue itself was the other story that night. Formerly known as the Boston Arena, Matthews gave birth to the Boston Bruins, the New England Whalers, and introduced the Boston Celtics Northeastern — a 115-year-old building that held nearly 5,000 people in the heart of Northeastern's campus Northeastern Global News. Weeks later, it would begin being surgically deconstructed to make way for a new multi-purpose athletics complex Northeastern Global News. These frames capture one of the last nights the arena was filled with music instead of memories — Flo Milli on stage, a historic room saying goodbye, and a crowd that knew they were part of something that wouldn't happen again.
