Samay Raina

Samay Raina is an Indian stand-up comedian who co-won Comicstaan 2, became a cultural force through chess streams with grandmasters like Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen, and launched the massively popular YouTube talent show India's Got Latent in 2024. When a guest's controversial remarks triggered nationwide outrage and legal action in early 2025, Raina pulled every episode and stepped away . The Still Alive tour is his answer to all of it. The set is raw, bitter, and funny all at once — built around how the controversy affected him, his family, and who showed up when it mattered. He brought the show to Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre on February 7, 2026 — a phone-free, Yondr-locked room where the only way to experience it was to be there. These photos are a rare look at a night that wasn't meant to be documented — just felt.
