Ava Dallas is a singer-songwriter whose acoustic-driven sound is shaped by growing up between the mountains of Bethel, Maine and the shores of Cape Cod The Music Spotlight. She describes her music simply: "cool girl sad songs" Instagram — and that's exactly what it is. She wrote one of her favorite tracks, "Like I Do," in her college dorm in 20 minutes, calling it the moment everything clicked Apple Music. She brought that energy to Northeastern's AfterHours, the intimate venue tucked inside Curry Student Center Northeastern, where the small room and low ceiling made every lyric feel like it landed right in your lap. She previewed "People Please" before it was released anywhere — just her, a mic, and a song nobody in the room had heard yet. These frames capture what it looks like when an artist is still becoming, and you're lucky enough to be in the room for it.
